Roy had the driving duties, as Craig was trying to catch up on sleep, and by midnight, the delivery was complete and they were safely parked in the company yard in Spokane. Finally some down time for non moving sleep and a chance to catch up on paperwork in the morning. No sooner than they had time to fortify their bodies with food, than they got their next assignment. Head to Prosser, WA to pick up a load of frozen french fries and then deliver them at 6am this morning back in Spokane at the URM Stores DC.
They won't have to wonder where they will be headed next, as they have already been given a pre plan after they go empty to pick up a loaded trailer in the company yard in Spokane, and deliver it to Phoenix, AZ on Sunday afternoon. That should leave just one more assignment headed back to Spokane, before I can meet Craig there to pick him up and start his very much deserved vacation time, and then we are looking forward to getting back into our normal routine with me back on the truck.
In other news, all four of the black pieces of furniture that I mentioned on my last entry have already sold, and it only took a few hours after dropping them off at the store. Needless to say, we did not take any time off from our hard work, and went right back to finishing up two other pieces we had in the wings, one of them being this cute little side table.
They were dropped off yesterday, and starting today and through the weekend, we will be on the hunt for many more pieces to work on to make sure we have a supply available to take to the store as needed. As much as I enjoy what we are doing, I'm very much looking forward to meeting up with Craig on Wednesday. It's been a long 8 weeks apart!

with the truck always moving how does the person not driving eat something other than snack food? Do they once stop once or twice for a good meal?
and when Diane is off the truck, we are all off the truck. Can't wait for you to get back in the saddle too.
Maybe you need to up the price of your creations. They are selling too fast.

We always have food on board, and rarely eat out, so the times that Craig is training, there is no worries about stopping to eat, because he is well supplied on that subject.

You know, you're not the first person who has told us that maybe our prices are too low, something we will have to consider. And the only person more anxious than me to have me back on the truck, would be Craig! Looks like Oct 16 may just be our lucky day!
